The global influence of BTS has been recognised by Time Magazine, after they were chosen as one of its Next Generation Leaders.

The accolade for the K-Pop phenomenon comes after they played sold out shows at New York’s Citifield Stadium and London’s O2 Arena in the last week alone.

“As a Korean, we love our country and we’re proud of our country so much”, BTS’ RM explains in a newly released video. “It’s even just an honour to be called an ambassador of Korean K-Pop.”

But the group are now setting their heights even higher.

“I’m just throwing it out there, but maybe we could perform at the Super Bowl someday”, said BTS’ Suga.

Meanwhile, BTS’ Jungkook broke down on stage in London on Tuesday night after an earlier heel injury left him unable to dance.

The star sat for most of the gig at the side of the stage on a stool on top of a moving platform so he could be wheeled on and off stage.

During the penultimate song closer, ‘Anpanman’, Jungkook started to cry, appearing to be overcome by the incident.

Jimin, meanwhile, ran to comfort his bandmate before they all stood to sing concert closer ‘Answer: Love Myself.’

It was also announced yesterday earlier this week that BTS will be getting their very own movie in November, with their 2017 documentary Burn The Stage getting a full cinematic release.
